"The Bananashark Racing Team based in the UK, races a full size offshore power boat appropriately called the Bananashark, designed by Lorne Campbell. The boat has been described as a flyer and is proving to be very successful. The manufacturer of the full size boat has started to produce a number of 1/9th-scale models of this unique design and we have one on test. Having built it for serious racing and carried out some tests all I can say is wow!

It's dimensionally big but it's a flyer and is very easy to drive.
Having whetted your appetite I will say no more for now but a full report will be in my next contribution. These days I don't often become too excited about another boat but this one's different.

Following its first test at the local lake I just had to punch the air and shout yes! Goodness knows what I will do if it likes 20 cells with a big brushless motor'.
